FAQ's

School year: Check-ins for the fall will start the Monday before school starts. The office will be open 9am to 5pm Monday-Friday of that week. You may also check in the Saturday before school starts from 9am to 1pm. If you will not make it during office hours you will need to call and make other arrangements (435-752-7501). Check out will always be the first Saturday in May.

Spring Semester: If you are buying a contract and moving in for spring semester, you will need to call and make arrangements with management to check in (435-752-7501). Check-out will always be the first Saturday in May.

Summer Semester: Check-ins for Summer will always be the first Saturday in May. If you will not make it during office hours you will need to call and make other arrangements (435-752-7501). Check-outs for summer will be 2 Saturdays before school starts.

Can I live with friends that I request in an apartment of my choice?

You may request certain roommates and a certain apartment, but it is all subject to availability. The quicker you apply, the greater chance you have of getting your request.

When can I apply for Summer 2025 and School Year 2025-26?

Open registration will begin February 3rd. Click on the APPLY tab above.

What utilities are included with rent?

All utilities and high speed wireless internet are included .

Were are the laundry facilities located and how much does it cost?

There is a coin laundry room and lounge for each phase. Phase 1 is located in the basement of the G building, and Phase 2 is located in the basement of the P building. The washer is $1.00 per load and the dryer is $.25 for 10 minutes. We can exchange cash for quarters at the office.

Do I have a reserved parking spot and how much does it cost?

There are no reserved parking spaces at Old Farm. If you are a resident of Old Farm you will receive a parking permit when you check in at no cost. Please read our parking policy for further parking information.

How do we report maintenance issues in our apartment?

You may call the Old Farm office at anytime day or night 435-752-7501. If we do not answer you may leave a message and we will get back to you ASAP. We will also accept emails reporting any issues oldfarm96@gmail.com.

How can I pay for my rent?

We accept cash or check in the office but you can also pay for rent through your online Room Choice account (processing fees apply).

When is rent due and must I pay for the whole contract up front?

Payments for rent for School Year will start being due July 1st and the 1st of every month after depending on how many payments you agreed to. Rent for Summer is due April 1st. If you are paying with financial aid you must let management know before July 1st or when you sign up, and you must show written proof of the financial aid. If you need other payment arrangements you must contact Old Farm management (435-752-7501) before July 1st, additional fees may apply.

Are Vacuums available for the tenants?

Yes, vacuums are available for check-out at the Old Farm office. We require an ID and they may be checked out for 1 hour at a time. We still recommend that you bring your own vacuum as we have very few vacuums available to check out.
